About the Owner
Chef Cowgirl grew up in the small town of Callisburg, Texas, where nobody knows what a Chef is. “We were poor and my mom worked a lot providing for my family and I got tired of McDonalds every night, so I started cooking for my family since I was in the 4th grade.”
She has worked full time since the age of 12 at Red River Peach Orchard and then at Lavender Ridge Farms. Chef Cowgirl graduated from NCTC in Gainesville with an associates in Business Management with dreams of opening her own restaurant.
She's smart with money and wanted to learn all aspects before launching a restaurant so went to Big City Dallas to attend Le Cordon Bleu and fell in love with cooking figuring out her place. Instead of going back home to get married and open up a restaurant, she stayed in Dallas to learn under great Chefs.
